EX15 Self Storage is a Devon based self storage company specialising in storage for residential customers and businesses. They use converted barns on their family farm to offer premium self storage at competitive costs.

The Issue
Self storage is a sector that’s been on the rise in recent years as the need for storage solutions for residential and businesses is at an all time high. It offers great returns for business owners too, with high customer LTV (life time value)- customers typically hire a unit for 12 months or more – and relatively low maintenance costs.
The challenge comes with marketing. As more sites open and competition grows, storage operators need a steady, predictable flow of leads.
The Solution
We’d already optimised EX15’s Google Business Profile to improve the likelihood of people finding them through organic traffic. However, as is often the case, a well optimised profile doesn’t guarantee a steady flow of leads. Paid media is required for that.
Google Ads is the perfect advertising channel for this. When searching for self storage, people predominantly go to Google to find local options. Paying to appear at the top of Google puts you front and centre.
So we designed a lead generation system that combined Google Ads with a highly optimised landing page.
The Results
The results have been impressive. We deliver them a minimum of 30 highly qualified leads per month. At a close rate of 20% and higher, that’s a move-in every week on average.

Summary
You can see how Google ads can provide a regular flow of qualified leads looking for your service. With high customer lifetime value (LTVs) and low running costs, the revenue generated from a regular flow of leads and move-ins easily covers the cost of the ads.
